Saturday in Minnesota marked a continuing trend for Penn State. The Nittany Lions struggled again on the court and fell 81-71 to the Golden Gophers. The loss was the third straight for Penn State in the Big Ten Conference.

The Nittany Lions shot 36 percent from the field and were outrebounded by a margin of 49-40. Struggling to score the basketball has plagued the Nittany Lions all season, and Saturday was no different.
Despite the poor showing on offense, true freshman guard Tony Carr remained a bright spot.
