Missouri out slugs Texas A&M in SEC Tournament

COLUMBIA — Three home runs from three different players, including a grand slam, powered Missouri past Texas A&M 12-7 in the first round of the SEC Tournament.

Both teams scored early, as Missouri (36-21) plated two in the top of the first. Junior Trey Harris was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to open the scoring before freshman Kameron Misner added an RBI groundout.

Missouri ace, junior Tanner Houck, got off to a slow start on the mound, walking the first batter he faced. Texas A&M went on to get three hits, a hit-by-pitch and four points in its half of the first inning to retake the lead.
