Florham Park, N.J. -- Some early news and notes from the pre-competition session at The Opening Regional here at the New York Jets training facilities:
--Five-star defensive end Micah Parsons, from Harrisburg High, caught passes early on during Elite 11 quarterback testing and will work out at linebacker during the afternoon competition session. He said PSU is still in play despite the going-rate indicating that a prospect won't re-commit to a school he decommitted from, adding that he wants to see many schools this summer and plans to decide in January or February.
--Four-star Imhotep Charter safety Isheem Young also wants to see many programs, and he gave a big thumbs up to his recent trip to Penn State for the Blue-White game.
