Four-star wide receiver Tre Nixon (Melbourne, FL) told 247Sports that the Penn State Nittany Lions are in this top three, along with Georgia and Auburn.
PSU is confident in the impressing they've made on the 6'1", 170-pounder because of how early they started pursuing him.
“They’ve been there for a long time,” Nixon said. “They’re been there forever."
Nixon also praised Nittany Lions head coach James Franklin.
“He’s just a great guy," Nixon said. "He’s really down to earth. He’s really good with the kids, that’s one thing. He’s definitely building a program — they’re up-and-coming."
Nixon is ranked as the No. 44 wideout in the country and No. 243 overall prospect in the class of 2016.
