USF men's basketball routs Pacific

The Pacific men's basketball team struggled mightily offensively, and allowed 14 made 3-pointers, in a 72-51 West Coast Conference loss to USF on Saturday at War Memorial Gymnasium in San Francisco.

USF (12-7, 2-4 WCC) hit 14 of 34 3-point tries. Charles Minlend scored a game-high 16 points for the Dons and was six of eight from the field.

Pacific, meanwhile, had no players in double figures. T.J. Wallace and Ray Bowles scored a team-high nine points each, Anthony Townes added eight points and Jacob Lampkin, D.J. Ursery and David Taylor had seven each.

The Tigers (8-11, 2-4) trailed 43-18 at halftime and could never recover.
