STOCKTON, Calif. - Summer collegiate baseball season has come to a close and the Tigers had an impressive summer representing Pacific around the nation playing in eight different leagues.
Pacific had 20 players competing in the California Collegiate League (CCL), Northwoods League (NWL), Sunset League, Great West League (GWL), New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL), SoCal Collegiate Baseball League (SCCBL), Pacific Coast Collegiate League (PCCL), Cal Ripken Collegiate Baseball League and Kansas Collegiate Baseball League.
In the CCL, Justin Giovannoni, Cooper Casad and Ed O'Bannon III finished up their summer with the Healdsburg Prune Packers. On the mound, Giovannoni pitched 41 1/3 innings recording 124 outs, 29 of them strikeouts and finished with a 3.
