Tigers Tame The Lions To Get Series Sweep

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Tiger softball team defeated visiting Loyola Marymount 5-1 on Sunday afternoon to secure a series sweep of the Lions. Marissa Young got her second start of the series, going five and two-thirds with just one earned and two strikeouts. Megan Walters struck out the side in the seventh inning en route to her second save this year. Caitlyn Sung went 3-for-3 at the plate with two RBI's and two runs scored, which is her fourth three-hit game this season. Hailey Reed also added three hits in the contest and fellow freshman Ralene Estrada hit a double and a triple in the victory.
