STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific Tigers overwhelmed the Cal Poly Mustangs with their biggest offensive output since 2012, winning 16-0. It was the second shutout in a row for the Tigers, who had just one shutout all of last season. Pacific moves to 3-2 on the season, while Cal Poly drops to 1-5.
James Free II starred for Pacific, going 4-for-5 with three doubles and four RBI. Even with that output, Free was still second on the Tigers in RBI today thanks to Matthew Tarantino.
"We're just playing as a family, that's all you can ask for," said Free about today's performance.
