SAN BRUNO, Calif. - The Pacific's men's soccer team was selected to finish first in the West Coast Conference this upcoming season, as voted on by the conference's ten head coaches. The conference also named Tristan Blackmon and Wouter Verstraaten to the All-WCC Preseason Team.
Pacific received 46 total points in the poll including five first-place votes. Last season the Tigers narrowly finished second in the WCC with a 4-1-2 conference record, right behind first-place Portland who went 6-1-0.
This is Blackmon's second All-WCC Preseason plaudit after he earned the recognition before the 2015 season.
