STOCKTON, Calif. - The Pacific Tigers baseball season may have ended a month ago, but there are plenty of Tigers playing summer ball around the country. Twenty-one Pacific baseball student-athletes are participating across the country in 10 different summer collegiate baseball leagues before they return to classes in August.
Competing in the California Collegiate League (CCL) is Justin Giovannoni, Lucas Halstead, Ricky Reynoso, Kevin Sandri, Nate Verlin, John Besse, Cooper Casad, James Free II, and Ed O'Bannon III. Three Tigers were placed with the Healdsburg Prune Packers as Giovannoni, Casad, and O'Bannon III all remain teammates throughout the summer.
