STOCKTON, Calif. - Mayaan Sela and Karina Vrylan will play Tuesday in doubles action at the 2017 UTSA Stockton Challenger.
The duo faces the tandem of Tammi Patterson and Chanel Simmons in the fourth match of the day on Tuesday,
In singles play on Monday, Vrylan fell to Kristina Smith in three sets, 7-6 (9), 1-6, 2-6. Vrylan battled to the first set win in a tie-breaker, but Smith outlasted her in sets two and three to advance despite Vrylan's first serve points won percentage of 61 percent.
Anneroos Nederstigt was topped by Ena Shibahara, who is the top player for UCLA, in two sets, 6-4, 6-2.
