SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - In the first of two meets this weekend, Pacific's men's and women's teams defeated Cal Poly handily, with the men winning 167.5-130.5 and the women winning 172-125 in the 32-event meet. The Tigers won 21 of the 28 non-diving events on the day.
The day started with the Tigers sweeping the 200 Medley Relay, taking first and second in both the men's and women's events. Cai Hong Singh, Whitney Jorgensen, Kenna Ramey, and Vaiva Gimbutyte took the women's side, finishing in 1:43.82. That was several seconds ahead of the team of Isabella Green, Angela Gagliardo, Taylor Hosmer, and Meredith Lillie, who swam a 1:47.
