The battle for jobs will begin Thursday with 52 players in training camp.
The Ottawa Senators confirmed its camp roster on Wednesday as the players report for medicals at the Canadian Tire Centre with the first on-ice session set for Friday.
Captain Erik Karlsson, who is suiting up for Sweden at the World Cup of Hockey, won't be among the participants. Forward Vincent Dunn and defenceman Ben Harpur were invited but are sidelined by injury.
