OTTAWA — The Ottawa Senators are maintaining all due respect for New York Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist, but they won’t let him get into their heads in advance of Saturday’s Game 2 matinee at the Canadian Tire Centre.
“He’s a good goalie, one of the best,” said Mark Stone, whose chance at an early power-play goal in Game 1 on Thursday was thwarted by a desperation glove save by Lundqvist.
“Those are the types of saves those goalies make. You see some of the saves our goalie (Craig Anderson) makes, it’s the same thing. We understand we’re playing one of the top goalies in the league.
