Bruce Boudreau, the man considered one of the top candidates for the Senators’ coaching job, was scheduled to arrive in Ottawa on Thursday night.
Friday, the former Anaheim Ducks coach will have a face-to-face interview with Senators GM Pierre Dorion.
While the Senators have been trying to keep their process secretive with Dorion piling up the air miles flying all over North America to interview candidates, it’s no secret the 61-year-old Boudreau is one of the names at the top of the club’s list to replace Dave Cameron, who was fired 72 hours after the season ended last month.
