The arbitration date was set for July 21st and the deal was signed the same day. It was cut close but the Ottawa Senators will not need an arbitration hearing for any players this summer. Dzingel was signed to a two year 3.6 million dollar contract. With an average annual value of 1.8 million Dzingel was paid closer to what he asked for than what the Sens would have liked to pay.
