PHILADELPHIA - The Jyrki Jokipakka era may finally be ready to begin.
With centre Zack Smith “not feeling well”, coach Guy Boucher is toying the possibility of dressing 11 forwards and seven defencemen against the Philadelphia Flyers Tuesday night at the Wells Fargo Center.
Smith wasn’t at the rink Tuesday morning and may not be ready to play. He will be a game-time decision but if he can’t play then Jokipakka will suit up for the first time since being acquired on March 1 from the Calgary Flames for forward Curtis Lazar.
That will be the only change that Boucher will make.
