Jean Pageau and his wife Yda are surely not the first couple to have had some very late nights on a vacation in Italy.
But they could be the first to stay up through the wee hours watching their son in the NHL playoffs.
"They already booked the trip before the playoffs, so there was no turning back," Senators centre Jean-Gabriel Pageau said after Sunday's morning skate. "My dad follows the team every time. Even in Italy when it's 4 a.m. he still watches. I don't know what he did or how he's doing it, but he's texting me after every game because he watched it.
