Ottawa Sens expected to stay quiet during NHL free agency

Don't expect any fireworks at the Canadian Tire Centre on Canada Day.

In fact, it could be awfully quiet.

Though the Senators' will go into the office and certainly sniff around the NHL's free agent market when the shopping beings at noon, GM Bryan Murray has made it clear since the entry draft wrapped up Saturday afternoon he doesn't expect to be active when teams start spending wildly.

After making the playoffs on the final day of the season, the Senators aren't in any hurry to make changes because Murray along with assistants Pierre Dorion and Randy Lee liked the success this group had under coach Dave Cameron and they'd like to give it the chance to continue.
