Tyler Harvey signs to play in Italy next season

Orlando Magic 2015 second-round draft pick Tyler Harvey signed a contract with Auxillium Pallacanestro Torino, he announced on Instagram on Thursday.

Harvey was the Magic’s second-round pick in the 2015 Draft and played for the Magic’s Summer League team in 2015. He was not signed to a training camp roster, although he was in Orlando for much of camp. They did this to retain his draft rights, opting to keep him with the D-League’s Erie BayHawks the entire season.

He was drafted after he led the nation in scoring at Eastern Washington after averaging 23.1 points per game in his junior year.
