The Orlando Magic were on the brink of another collapse Sunday, but Nik Vucevic rescued them.
Vucevic hit a turnaround, baseline jumper from 19 feet as time expired to give the Magic a 96-94 win over the Atlanta Hawks at Amway Center.
Vucevic finished with a team-high 22 points.
The Magic took a 94-86 lead with 3:41 to play on a jumper by Elfrid Payton, but then the Magic frittered that lead away through a combination of poor defensive rebounding and silly turnovers.
With the Magic ahead 94-91, Vucevic passed up a shot and lost the ball out of bounds with 1:02 to go.
