Orlando City received another blow to its roster Saturday night when midfielder Will Johnson left the Lions’ 1-1 draw against the Columbus Crew in the 32nd minute with an injury.
Johnson was evaluated by the club’s medical team Sunday and has a lateral ankle sprain that will keep him out of competition for two to four weeks, a club spokesman told the Sentinel.
Johnson wears the captain’s armband when Kaká is not on the field and is known as one of the team’s hardest workers, a versatile midfielder willing to do anything he’s asked.
