CORVALLIS – Oregon State standout Sydney Wiese has been named to the Ann Meyers Drysdale Midseason Watch List, the U.S. Basketball Writers Association announced Tuesday.
Wiese is one of 28 players to make the list, which highlights the top candidate for the USWBA's National Player of the Year honor. Balloting for the award will take place in March, with the winner being honored at the Women's Final Four.
Wiese, who has already been named to the watch lists for the Wooden Award, Naismith Trophy, Wade Trophy and Lieberman Award, is the Pac-12's career record holder for 3-pointers.
