LAWRENCE, Kan. – Inclement weather on Thursday forced the postponement of the opening day of the NCAA West Preliminary track & field meet at the University of Kansas.
It will resume on Friday, weather permitting. A revised schedule was not available.
Juniors Devin Collins and Morgan Anderson were scheduled to compete in the opening round of the 400 hurdles and 1500 meters on Thursday. They will run on Friday instead.
Junior Melissa Ausman (pictured) will compete in the discus and senior Sara Almen will compete in the high jump today.
