Philadelphia Drafts Isaac Seumalo

Oregon State's versatile offensive lineman Isaac Seumalo has been drafted in the third round of the 2016 NFL draft by the Philadelphia Eagles with the 16th pick of the round, the 79th pick overall.

The Eagles are initially looking for help at guard, which Seumalo played last year, his red-shirt junior season for the Beavers. But Philadelphia gets depth across the front in the 6'3", 303 Seumalo, who played center as a freshman and much of the time as a sophomore at Oregon State.

And while he's undersized by NFL standards height wise to play tackle, he has played the position effectively at the Pac-12 level when injuries necessitated it, using quickness, handwork, and overall football iq to get the job done, and could be used in an emergency at the position by the Eagles as well.
