Oregon State Wins Season Opener

CORVALLIS, Ore. – set a career-high with 25 kills and inched her way closer to 1,000 for a career with 19 as the Oregon State volleyball team defeated Utah State in five sets to open the 2016 season Friday at Gill Coliseum.

Set scores were 21-25, 25-23, 25-23, 11-25 and 15-11.

Reagan paced the Beavers with 62 attacks in the morning match, and hit .242 to lead the way for OSU, which tallied a .233 mark as a team. She finished with a double double, also registering 10 digs.

Marshall, meanwhile, came into the match needing 53 kills to become the 15 player in school history with 1,000 or more.
