Oregon State Basketball: Five In-State Prospects To Keep An Eye On

They may not necessarily be Oregon State targets just yet, but this batch of high school talent from around the Beaver State could one-day become the next big star in Corvallis. From a top-fifty recruit who has an all-out recruiting war for his services to some under-the-radar prospects, we take a look at five in-state prospects who define the current landscape of high school basketball in Oregon.

1. Kamaka Hepa ‘18 (Jefferson HS/Portland)

A native of Barrow, Alaska (a town best known for it’s football team’s role in the NFL Network show “Football Town”), Hepa transferred to Portland’s Jefferson High School before the start of this past season, helping the Democrats secure a Class 6A State Championship in just his first year on campus.
