Former Oregon State star Jamie Weisner has been signed by the WNBA's Washington Mystics, the organization announced Tuesday afternoon.
Weisner, an All-American and the Pac-12 Player of the Year in 2015-16, was originally drafted by the Connecticut Sun (second round, 17th overall) last month and cut just before the season began.
"Jamie has played both wing positions in college and this is an opportunity for her to try to prove herself at this level," coach Mike Thibault said in a release. "With all the injuries we've had, I felt like we needed to make a change to add to our depth.
