Beavers Close Out Regular Season With A Sweep

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Andy Atwood hit his first career home run and Jordan Britton scattered three hits and two runs over six innings to pace top-ranked Oregon State to a 4-2 win over Abilene Christian Sunday afternoon at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field.

With the win, Oregon State swept the four-game series from the Wildcats and closed out the regular season at 49-4. The Beavers enter the NCAA's postseason on a 16-game win streak, the longest active in the nation.

Atwood hit a 2-2 pitch over the left field fence in the second for his first career home run, putting the Beavers up 2-0.
