With all but two Pac-12 football programs done with spring practices — and Oregon and UCLA will finish Saturday — it's almost time to look ahead to the fall in the Pac-12, where Washington will attempt to defend its conference championship against competition from Rose Bowl champion USC and surprise Pac-12 South Division winner Colorado.

Arizona held a scrimmage instead of a true game April 1, and "the biggest storyline, by far," per the Arizona Daily Star's Michael Lev, was sophomore quarterback Khalil Tate, who's attempting to beat out returning starter Brandon Dawkins.
