- Chris Seisay left the Oregon program over the weekend. The junior said playing time wasn’t an issue in making the decision.
- Galen Rupp ran his second marathon in his life at Rio de Janiero at held his own. Rupp ran the marathon in 2:10:05. The time was good enough for him to win the bronze medal.
