Oregon Ducks Use Seven Run 2nd Inning To Beat Oregon State

The bottom of the second inning saw an explosion by the Oregon Offense that put up seven runs. Stephen Packard hit a double to start the inning, and mistakes by Oregon State loaded the bases. Travis Monoit made it a three run inning and a few batters later it was 7-0 as Nick Catalano had an RBI single. Oregon had 9 hits and 4 walks and made a good part of them count.

Head Coach George Horton used eight pitchers on the night and Cole Stringer started things off with two shutout innings. The Ducks struck out 10 Oregon State batters.
