The Oregon Ducks Softball team has learned a lot since they last lost a Pac-12 Series, coincidentally against the team they will have to beat in UCLA to get to the Women’s College World Series in UCLA.
The UCLA Bruins faced Oregon in April and roughed up Starter Cheridan Hawkins, limiting her to just two innings in the first game of the series and taking out the Oregon Ducks. Since that series loss, Oregon’s first in the Pac-12 in two years, the Ducks have their swagger back.
Since the series with UCLA, Starter Cheridan Hawkins has found her game, shutting down opponents and lowering her season ERA to under 2.
