The Oregon Ducks looked to salvage one game of the three-game series against Stanford. The Ducks were also looking to snap a four-game losing streak after winning last Friday against Arizona on the road. David Peterson and Matt Mercer took the early losses in the series. Isaiah Carranza would look to get off to good start on Sunday.
Carranza did not have the best first inning that included a run on a wild pitch and also saw a 15-minute rain delay. When play resumed he gave up two more runs as Stanford jumped out to a 3-0 lead before Oregon came to bat.
