Oregon Ducks Baseball Drops Series vs Stanford After Just 2 Hits Friday

Following a solid outing from Cole Irvin on Friday, David Peterson took the mound on Friday night giving up four runs on seven hits in 5 2/3 innings. It was not his best outing of the year, but the Oregon Offense was again stifled by Stanford pitching. Oregon did get two runs in the eighth inning to cut the lead to 4-2, but that was all.

Again, it was Stanford Pitching, allowing just two hits in nine inning, so far five hits for the series against Stanford. With the loss, Oregon fell to 14-15 in the Pac-12 and may have fallen out of contention at 29-25 for a post season NCAA Bid.
