Oregon Ducks are hopeful entering 2017 NFL draft, but pro opportunities are unclear

EUGENE -- When more than a dozen former Oregon Ducks walked onto the Moshofsky Center's turf field in mid-March for their audition in front of NFL scouts and executives, the facility was as quiet as a library.

The past two years, pro day was simply a box to check for a bunch of surefire future draft picks. In 2015, when Marcus Mariota and Arik Armstead each were taken within the NFL draft's first 15 picks, satellite TV trucks parked outside UO's indoor practice center beamed Mariota's pro day workout across the country.
