Offense Explodes In Win Over Savannah State

EUGENE, Ore. — Matched up against one of college basketball's most uptempo teams, the Oregon men were happy to oblige in an up-and-down shootout Saturday at Matthew Knight Arena, coming away with a 128-59 victory over Savannah State.

How It Happened: It seemed to take the Ducks (7-2) a few possessions to find a rhythm at the Tigers' preferred tempo. But once they did, the offensive fireworks ensued. Dillon Brooks scored seven straight during an 11-0 run to an 18-10 lead, and later the Ducks scored on seven straight trips to go ahead 32-18 on a Keith Smith jumper.
