On a Wednesday evening in Berkeley, California, a basketball team from Eugene, Oregon, saw its hopes of repeating as Pac-12 champions saved by a trio of Canadians who hail from Mississauga, Montreal and Toronto.
The No. 6 Oregon Ducks beat Cal 68-65 to stay one game behind Arizona in the conference standings. In the comeback victory, Dillon Brooks, Chris Boucher and Dylan Ennis combined for 53 points.
Really, this is nothing new for the 25-4 Ducks. Brooks, from Mississauga, joined the team two years ago and served as a strong sidekick as a freshman to Joseph Young.
