The Oregon high school basketball scene has experienced a few down years on the recruiting trail, as the state has largely been devoid of high-impact college basketball talents.
But that is slowly changing, and the state's current headliner, four-star Jefferson power forward Kamaka Hepa, has something to do with that.
The 6-foot-8, 210-pound highly-skilled big man, who plays for Portland Basketball Club, holds offers from Miami (Fla.), Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon State, Texas, Utah and several others, while remaining in contract with another set of top-25 programs.
According to Rivals, Hepa took another step forward this summer, and could soon see his stock jump another level.
