Geoff Schwartz, Oregon Ducks alum and NFL vet, to work UO spring game broadcast

EUGENE -- Geoff Schwartz has seen plenty of games in Autzen Stadium before.

Just never from the perspective of five floors above the field, in the press box.

Schwartz, who played on the Oregon Ducks' offensive line from 2004-07 before a six-year NFL career, is returning to Autzen on April 29 as a color analyst working the Pac-12 Networks broadcast of Oregon's annual spring game.

Though the spring game will be Schwartz's fourth time calling a football game as an analyst, it will be his biggest opportunity by far in an industry he hopes to transition into after retiring from the NFL in 2015, after two seasons with the New York Giants.
