Royce Freeman enters his senior season on no less than three preseason watch lists for major college football awards, after being named Friday to the watch list for the Walter Camp Football Foundation's national player of the year award.
Freeman was previously named to the watch list for the Maxwell Award, another national player of the year honor. Also Friday, Freeman was added to the preseason watch list for the Doak Walker Award, given to the nation's top running back.
Oregon's single-season rushing record-holder with 1,836 yards as a sophomore in 2015, Freeman enters his senior season with 4,146 career rushing yards and 44 touchdowns.
