Payback’s a B—-h for the Buffaloes. After being overmatched by Colorado in their place, the Ducks needed to take control of this one; the earlier and better. The Buffaloes did score first, but after Chris Boucher nailed one of his patented baseline 3’s, the Ducks took the lead and never gave it back. It went out to 9-2 before a 3 for Colorado got them to 9-5. At the 9:01 mark, a layup by Cook had the Buffaloes tripled up, 21-7. Four minutes later, the first of two double technicals was called, Tre’Shaun Fletcher of Colorado, and Dillon Brooks of Oregon.
