Ducks Snap Skid With Win Over OSU

EUGENE, Ore. — Oregon ended a four-game losing streak and evened the score with Oregon State in nonconference play this season, beating the Beavers 7-6 before 1,838 at PK Park on Wednesday.

How It Happened: Stinging from a midweek loss to OSU and then a sweep at UCLA last week, the Ducks (18-16) cured their ills right off the bat Wednesday. After two shutout innings from spot starter Cole Stringer (1-0), the Ducks spotted the UO pitching staff seven runs in the bottom of the second.
Steven Packard led off the second with a double, and a hit batter and a walk loaded the bases.
