WAIKOLOA, Hawaii – A stellar round from sophomore Aaron Wise highlighted the second day of competition at the Amer Ari Invitational Friday as the Oregon men’s golf team sits tied for fourth heading into Saturday’s final round.
How It Happened: The Ducks carded a season-low, 9-under 279 Friday to get to 15-under overall and tie themselves in fourth place on the leaderboard for the second-straight day. Arizona State fired a tournament-low 17-under 271 to tie the Ducks after 36 holes. UCLA is the clubhouse leader after a second-round 272 has them at 25-under for the event.
