Ducks Come to Early Season Crossroads

Despite a 2015 season that saw them lose four games, including an Alamo Bowl defeat at the hands of TCU in which they blew a 31-point lead and lost in triple OT, the Ducks came into 2016 with a lot of optimism, and they weren’t alone.

Their fans, and many others, gave a host of reasons why their preseason ranking of #24 was too low, including that they have a new starting QB and six of the last seven national championships have been won by teams with first-year starters under center.
