Ducks Battle, Stumble Late at No. 17 UCLA

LOS ANGELES – Despite a big day for freshman Ruthy Hebard, the Ducks fell, 79-63, at No. 17 ranked UCLA on Sunday afternoon at Pauley Pavilion.

Hebard scored a career-high 29 points and grabbed nine rebounds but the Ducks (12-6, 2-4 Pac-12) turned the ball over 20 times in the loss. Both teams shot 44 percent from the field but UO's turnovers led to 18 more field goal attempts for the Bruins.

HOW IT HAPPENED: After going down 6-0 early after a pair of UCLA steals and transition layups, the Ducks settled in.
