A Rio judge reportedly rejected a bid from Ryan Lochte's lawyers to have the Olympic swimmer's criminal case dismissed, according to TMZ Sports.
The judge then handed the case off to the Ministry of Justice, a higher court, according to TMZ's report. Lochte is expected to be fined more than $11,000 for his role infiling a false police report.
