NORFOLK, Va. – Angie Hind’s Old Dominion women’s soccer team finished the fall semester with a 3.5 cumulative GPA, as 19 student-athletes garnered Dean’s List recognition, while two players recorded a perfect 4.0 GPA last semester.
The 3.5 team GPA ranked second of the 18 teams at Old Dominion University, only behind women’s golf (3.57).
“It starts with leadership,” says Randale Richmond, Sr. Associate Athletic Director for Academics and Compliance. “President Broderick and Dr. Selig make it very clear that high academic performance is a top priority for this University. After that, it is comes down to the student-athletes.
