NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion University men's and women's diving squads earned Scholar All-America recognition, the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) announced on Wednesday. Senior Colleen VandePoel was named honorable mention Scholar All-America.
“Coach Carol Withus once again led Old Dominion to one of the nation's top GPAs. We are very fortunate to have schools like Old Dominion and people like President John R. Broderick and Director of Athletics Dr. Wood Selig who support these exceptional student-athletes,” said CSCAA Executive Director Joel Shinofield
In total, 720 teams, representing 443 institutions achieved a grade point average of 3.
