NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University Sailing won the Aaron Szambecki Team Race over the weekend held at Old Dominion University.
The Monarchs finished the weekend with an 18-3 record, going 6-1 in the three rounds of racing over the weekend.
The ODU team for the weekend featured skippers Jeremy Herrin, James Jacob, Dreugh Phillips, Lee Dumaliang and Jack Elkin, as well as crew Molly Stern Berg, Carter Little, Dane Pedersen, Elleanor Wells and Gabe Smith.
In the first round of races, ODU earned wins over Presbyterian, Georgetown, Kings Point, Navy, St. Mary's and Tufts, with the lone loss to College of Charleston.
